Hello! I'm glad you're here.

I made this website as a bit of a landing page. A coming soon page, really. It's a little bare until I get my first book published, but once that happens, I'll already have the domain name sorted.My writing blends heartfelt stories with clever, layered humour for both children and adults. My characters – with their earnest perspectives on the world – will make you laugh and also give your heart a squeeze.My goal is to become a children's author across picture books and middle grade. I have a number of completed picture book manuscripts, a middle grade novel in the works, and I'm currently querying agents (which, if you're an agent, is hopefully why you're here! 🤞)

About me

I'm a former primary school teacher and current Head of Marketing in a software startup. I've been writing stories my whole life.Outside of writing, one of my favourite things to do is a solo cafe breakfast with a book. I've also developed a recent passion for interior design and spend hours poring over design books. As a result, I now have an unhealthy obsession with Facebook Marketplace, and on weekends you can find me driving all over the city doing pick ups and saying things like, "This will be my last purchase."

My favourite writers are (unsurprisingly), the ones that make me laugh. Mo Willems, Jon Klassen, X. Fang, Eva Ibbotson, Dev Petty, Heidi McKinnon, and many more. (And for adult books, I just want to say everything by Jonas Jonasson).
